Link Crew

Overview: The Link Crew program provides a structure which guides freshmen toward both academic and social success. Link Crew creates an environment where freshmen learn that people at their new school care about them and their future by removing the culture of negativity toward freshmen and replacing it with support and a sense of connection. With Link Crew, students help students succeed by using members of the junior and senior class as Link Crew Leaders. These Leaders are extensively trained to be positive role models, motivators and teachers who guide the freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful in high school. Link Crew is a yearlong orientation and transition program that has consistently made positive culture and climate changes throughout schools across the United States and Canada.

How to Join: Students going into their 11th or 12th grade year can join Link Crew through an application process that begins in March/April each year. Listen for announcements or speak to a Link Crew teacher advisor for details. All students who are interested are encouraged to apply! There are no specific requirements that would bar anyone from applying for this activity.

Time/Date/Location: Commitment includes regular visits to North Campus before school and during BEAR Time. Link is a year-long activity.
