During a dual meet, each individual Varsity event is scored by place. 1st place = 6 points, 2nd = 4, 3rd = 3, 4th = 2, 5th = 1, 6th place does not score.
Varsity relays are also scored by place. 1st = 8 points, 2nd = 4, 3rd = 2. Only two relays per team can score points. Each swimmers in a relay will share the points. 1st place = each swimmer receives 2 points, 2nd place = each swimmer receives 1 point, 3rd place = each swimmer receives .4.
Continuous attendance = 25 points
A positive attitude everyday = 25 points
Athletes must receive a total of 100 points or more to letter.
If you qualify for the Section team, you automatically letter.
