All student-participants in MSHSL sanctioned activities must meet the required number of credits each semester to be declared academically eligible. Those student-participants who do not meet the minimum credit requirements will be declared academically ineligible in accordance with MSHSL Bylaw 108.
Participation in athletics and activities plays an important role in the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. Our goal is to provide a variety of athletic and activity opportunities for our students so that varied interests and abilities are enhanced. Any student participating in a Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) sanctioned program must follow the rules and bylaws of the MSHSL and the White Bear Lake Area School District's board policies, which is outlined in this Code of Conduct Video
The relationship that White Bear Lake Area Schools has with the respective athletic and activity boosters clubs is critical in creating meaningful experiences for each of our programs.
It is the purpose and intent of WBLAS to provide the essentials needed to administer our various athletic and activity programs. Additionally, we look to partner with our booster clubs in an effort to enhance the program and experience for our coaches, advisors, and students.
A document outlining policies and guidelines for booster club formation and operation can be found HERE and should serve as a guide for each booster club.
